Meet the Amazing...

Sophia K.

Hi! My name is Sophia, and I'm excited to share a bit about myself with your family! I'm a ski school instructor originally from Baltimore, Maryland, and I recently moved to the Aspen Valley after attending Boston College.

I have several years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. During high school, I coached first- and second-graders for the Charm City Youth Lacrosse Club, and more recently, I assisted in coaching fourth- and sixth-graders for the Aspen Lacrosse Club. I also served as an assistant teacher for 10th-grade English at Friends School of Baltimore, which gave me valuable experience working with older children.

This past year, I worked in the kindergarten at the Waldorf School of Baltimore, primarily assisting in the pre-K classroom with lesson planning, daily activities, and conflict resolution among the kids. I also have nannying experience, having cared for a family with two children, ages three and six, over several summers.

I'm passionate about creating a supportive and fun environment for children, helping them grow socially, emotionally, and academically, all while having fun! In my free time, I enjoy skiing, playing lacrosse, going for runs, and singing along to musicals.

I'm excited about the opportunity to work with your family!
