Meet the Amazing...

Amelia T.

Hi, my name is Amelia, and I have lived in the Roaring Fork Valley since 2022. I attended the University of Denver, where I majored in Environmental Science and Psychology.

I have extensive experience nannying and babysitting for families in Minnesota, where I’m from. From 2012 to 2017, I nannied for two boys, starting when they were four and seven years old. Since I wasn’t yet driving, my focus was on engaging play, homework help, and arts and crafts.

From 2017 to 2019, I cared for a family with a one-year-old boy and a five-year-old girl in a limited screen-time household. This role involved active outdoor play, such as going to parks, biking, and visiting the zoo. I also gained experience bottle-feeding, diaper changes, preparing healthy snacks and meals, and handling dietary restrictions. Additionally, I helped with household tidying and organization.

During my time at the University of Denver, I was part of a babysitting network, providing care for children ranging from 9 months to 10 years old. My responsibilities included preparing healthy dinners and assisting with bedtime routines.

After moving to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2020, I worked in landscaping while occasionally babysitting for colleagues’ children, ages 6 months to 5 years old. I also gained experience caring for a family of four children, strengthening my ability to manage multiple kids at once.

In my free time, I love being outdoors—skiing, running, and hiking. I’m also an avid reader and enjoy spending summer days reading by the river. I adore animals and am happy to assist with pet care in the household!

I look forward to meeting your family! 😊
