Meet the Amazing...

Ginny

Hi, I'm Ginny, and I am your sitter here in the Roaring Fork Valley. I look forward to meeting you and your family! To be able to enjoy a day or an evening without kids is a special time for most parents, and it is one that should be worry-free. I want you to know that I listen carefully, I follow directions, and I will always respect your wishes and beliefs. You can count on a seamless hand-off of your child/children's care. And once you're on your way, my goal is to provide a great experience for the kids. I want you to rest assured that your most precious family members will be in good hands! I will be calling you in advance to learn more about you and your child(ren).

Like many, I began babysitting as a teen and continued as a young woman when I moved to the Aspen area in 1981. I always enjoyed meeting people from outside the community and providing them with a day or an evening out without the kids. Because I like kids of all ages, it is always fun to interact with infants, toddlers, and school-age kids.

Now, I am retired from Aspen Valley Hospital after a 33-year tenure as the Director of Community Relations. Most importantly, I raised my two sons here in the valley, and I now spend as much time as possible with my granddaughter (age 10) and my two grandsons (ages 11 and 12). In addition to regular short visits, my husband and I are fortunate to spend two weeks with the three kids (without their parents) each summer. My job (whether with my grandkids or with your kids) is to ensure their safety and well-being, to have fun, and to provide a really positive experience for all.
